Went to a bike rally type thingie today with the other half. We went on the quadbike, otherwise known as "the Beast" lol, four wheels, lots of grunt, and enough room for my fat arse on the back :) Though saying that, I'm a bit smaller than I was last time I went on it, so my helmet is looser around my chin, and I was sliding a bit on the seat!
Saw some GORGEOUS bikes, old cars, trikes, bikes and sidecars, even this beaut....
Custom paint job on the teardrop caravan, room for two inside, and a bonus skelly passenger!!
Then there was the "zombie hunters" bike...
cool rat bike, festooned with axes, gas mask, and a zombie head!!!!!
The custom paint job on this one is absolutely epic...
sort of wild west type scenery, all matching boxes...ace :)
The trike....*drool*
very bloomin excellent if you ask me :)
Fish and chips were imbibed as our usual weekend treat, cooked and served as always at the
The Waterfront, in my opinion, the best chippie around!
Staff are very friendly, food is always fresh and tasty, and the prices aren't ridiculous either :)
Then back for a bit more of a mootch around the bikes, until my stupid back up and decided to play up. I parked my bum on the quad and interacted with the masses....i.e, I had a natter with the people who were interested in Beastie.
Left about , hmm,, 2ish maybe, very good day, a band called "The Middens" were playing old English punk songs, not too badly either, and, after a mizzly start, the weather brightened and got scorching....literally...
I got sunburn....
I never get sunburn, as I hate the sun....
bright red face, neck/chest, and arms..
feckin sunburn...
sat here throbbing and glowing....
Bugger.
